A sliding skylight provides natural air conditioning to all rooms.

COSTA TROPICAL
The eastern end of the Costa del Sol is known as Costa Tropical and deserves its name. At its northern-most point, the Sierra Nevada, the highest mountain range in Spain, provides a barrier against European winters, in addition to blocking warm Mediterranean air from the south, creating a unique sub-tropical microclimate, not found anywhere else in Europe. This superb climate offers 320 days of sunshine and an average temperature of 25 degrees, providing an ideal environment for a holiday combining a variety of sports.
The World Health Organisation describes the climate of the Costa del Sol as one of being the best in the world. Almuñécar's summers are typically very hot with little to no rainfall. Summer temperatures in Almuñécar will be between 25 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius during the day with clear blue skies virtually guaranteed. Because Almuñécar's humidity is low and with cool breezes from the Sea, you won't feel the temperature is as high as it really is. (Almond harvest in August).
The winters are mild with many sunny days and clear blue skies. Almuñécar's climate is very healthy especially for sufferers of arthritis
The weather in Almuñécar in winter is very mild compared to northern Europe. Most winter days in Almuñécar are clear and sunny although it cools down a lot in the evening.
The temperatures can vary greatly in winter however; one day it can be over 20 degrees Celsius and you will be walking around in your
T-shirt, on another day it can be 6 degrees Celsius and feel very cold. It is possible in the course of one day, to ski in the snow covered Sierras, and follow with a swim or an other water sport in the Mediterranean, where the sea temperature averages 15 degrees. Remember that in the winter, the morning temperature does not exceed 10 degrees, and climbs up to about 25 degrees by the afternoon.(Harvest of avocados, cherimoyas…)
When Spring reaches its high point in April/May, this is an ideal time to explore the mountains and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding countryside. (and to enjoy the nisperos)
